Many believe that they are trivializing the war in this way, in what is known as 'Operation Epic Fury'. One of its latest posts shows the famous Nintendo video game Wii Sports, where the characters called Miis practice tennis, golf or bowling, interspersed with images of successful bombings.

The Trump administration released a video combining footage from a Nintendo Wii game with real drone strike videos from the conflict in Iran. The video was posted on the White House's X account and has garnered over 11 million views.
