Trump claims he watched 14-year-old girls change in a changing room fact check

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump reportedly walked into the dressing room at the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant while contestants were changing, according to a Buzzfeed News report.

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday refused to answer questions about allegations that Trump walked into the dressing room while Miss Teen USA contestants, some as young as 15, were changing.

Trump has denied wrongdoing in relation to the Epstein allegations and he hasn’t been charged with a crime in connection with them. There’s no evidence to suggest Trump took part in Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.

The edited version of the quote, with the added reference to Miss Teen USA, is circulating amid scrutiny over Mr Trump’s connection to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in jail in 2019.

While Edwards' YouTube account used the image as the thumbnail for a video titled, "The FBI forgot to redact this," and he mentioned "one file they forgot to redact" involving Trump "and a 14-year-old girl" (at 0:22), Edwards did not show the thumbnail image during the 10-minute video, indicating it was likely intended as clickbait.

On multiple occasions, Trump alleged — without citing evidence — that children have gone to school and returned home later having received gender-affirming surgeries, or that school officials somehow "changed the sex" of children.
