Hello Hope4, No. The Sony DVP-SR510H plays ONLY DVD. Being that it's made by Sony, I'm certain it plays DVDs well. But if you want to play Blu-Ray discs, my experience is that the Sony UBP-X800 is fantastic! I bought it at Best Buy in Los Angeles. They had a sale going back in fall of 2018.
