Sony Aspect Ratio Change Not Limited to 1080i/p on Sky Q Box
“you can only change the aspect ratio on the Sony by choosing 1080l/p on the Sky Q box”
Summary
Selecting 1080p on a Sky Q box does not control the aspect‑ratio on a Sony TV; the TV’s aspect‑ratio is determined by the incoming signal and can only be adjusted on the TV itself (or with low‑resolution signals). Therefore, you cannot change the Sony’s aspect‑ratio solely by choosing 1080p on the Sky Q box.
